Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi Egypt’s holding company, Solutions Red Sea, has just confirmed its marketing and management takeover of the new Hurghada Marina.

Contracts were only signed late last week by Solutions Red Sea and news quickly leaked out, causing a ripple effect of excitement throughout the Red Sea area.

Hurghada Marina’s Sales & Marketing Director, Paul Evans quoted the new mission statement as: “We will continue to evolve and advance Egypt’s daytime and nightlife entertainment via our relentless commitment, an unparalleled skill-set and clearly focused direction. Ensuring our latest project Hurghada Marina becomes the very heart of this city.”

Alongside some of the world’s leading brands like Nike, Timberland and Adidas, familiar locals hang-out Papas Bar, will move from their current high-street venue to join new ventures by goodfellas-themed Paccino Coffee and a host of other quality names signing up…

Meanwhile back on the dance-floor, the weather’s getting hotter and so are the parties! Hed Kandi resident DJ and producer, Wez Clarke, rocked both sides of the Red Sea, starting at the Hed Kandi Beach Bar for February’s Hed Kandi LIVE and then over at Pacha in Sharm El Sheikh with a fresh selection of Kandi-tastic tunes from right across the spectrum, followed by a storming Full Moon Party. In-house love machines; DJ_Ande and Walterwall paired up for a back-to-back Gorgeous Valentines Special on the 14th, spreading the love with their uplifting and energetic set.

Hurghada’s resident DJs change over this month as the ever-energised DJ Ande, returns to the UK for some more mesmerising gigs before jetting off to Thailand. Brighton-based DJ Mario Patrick flies in to take the reins alongside assisting the design team with some fresh artwork ideas.

Forthcoming events in the nightlife pipeline include; DJ Lisa Unique’s Egyptian debut at Gorgeous (MoS Hurghaga on 13th March), the ever-freaky Full Moon Party @ Hed Kandi Beach Bar (20th March), just two days before the bar’s first birthday celebrations on 22nd March with DJ Miss Behavin’.

Next month heralds the first White Sensation of the year (Saturday 26th), whereby thereafter the roof comes off for the summer, just two days after Ratpack celebrate their 21st Birthday Party (Thursday 24th), also at Hurghada’s Ministry of Sound Beach Club. Hed Kandi Beach Bar’s Hed Kandi LIVE will see the return of Hurghada legend, Joshua Roberts on Saturday 12th April and the freaky Full Moon Party on Saturday 19th.
