After the launch of the new monthly, special-guest DJ featured Smoove parties at Ministry of Sound’s Beach Club, Luminar Leisure’s “Number 1 Urban DJ of the Year 2007” DJ Junior J commented: “I got one word for you… EPIC! Look it up in the dictionary and get with the program – that’s all I’m saying!”

With head-quarters busy scheduling events, the Hurghada promotions team will be rushing around the city in the brand new ‘dune-buggies’ later this week. One member of senior management was quoted as saying: “They’ll be really good for doing doughnuts!” … that will be sure to get the attention of any potential punters! The hand-built buggies are 250cc automatics, with branded stickers and flags on order – they’re guaranteed to turn heads wherever they go, vroom vroom.

Over the water in Sharm El Shiekh the numbers of Brits visiting continues to increase each and every month… Hed Kandi visit Ministry of Sound at Pacha with DJ/Producer Wez Clarke on 16th February, just one week after he smashed it at Hurghada’s Hed Kandi LIVE (at the world’s only Hed Kandi Beach Bar).

After the departure of pint-sized resident DJ Josh Demello, a fresh face appears on the roster for Hurghada, the UK’s DJ Kid Creole debuted at Put Your Hands Up – the highly successful uplifting house night at Ministry of Sound, last Friday. Creole’s soulful blend of house and R&B can be witnessed throughout the week, or witness his headline slot at Housexy every Tuesday.

The nightlife in both Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh is constantly evolving, although some things in life stick to a similar theme – Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi throwing the best parties Egypt has to offer is most certainly one them.

Future dates for the clubbing calendar are Gorgeous Valentine’s Special @ MoS Hurghaga (14th February), Hed Kandi LIVE @ HK (8th March), Hed Kandi Beach Bar’s 1st Birthday Party (22nd March), old-skool legends Ratpack celebrate their 21st Birthday on April 24th and the world-famous White Sensation @ MoS on (26th April) hosted by Ratpack, should be enough just to get you started.
