As summer becomes ever-closer, the weather gets hotter and the temperature continues to rise on Egypt’s most legendary dance-floors courtesy of Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi Beach Bar.

Hurghada’s Ministry of Sound Beach Club confirms details for the first White Sensation party of 2008! Headlining this massive event on Saturday 26th April are original kings of old skool, Ratpack – the inspiring MC and DJ duo will perform their debut White Sensation party, just two days after celebrating Ratpack’s 21st Birthday (also at Ministry on Thursday 24th April).

Speaking exclusively to Clubbing_UK, Ratpack stated: “We’re looking forward to opening up MoS Egypt’s summer season soooo much! It’s gonna be a phatt week. Kicking off with the Ratpack 21st Birthday Celebrations party on Thursday 24th April and then the infamous White Sensation party on Saturday 26th April. If it’s anything like our first visit to Ministry in Hurghada, it looks like we’re gonna have one of the best weeks of our 21 years in the business! Bring it on!”

As the special event diary gets booked up, dates with Superstar DJs Brandon Block and BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong are still currently under negotiations. Confirmed artists for 2008 include; Ratpack (UK), DJ Styles (NL), DJ Junior J (UK), Hed Kandi artists Miss Kelly Marie, Wez Clarke, Andy Norman and ex-Ministry Egypt resident DJ Joshua Roberts (UK), and not forgetting the gorgeous DJ Suzee X.

Meanwhile firmly on Egyptian soil, the Ministry of Sound Red Sea resident-DJ-household receives another shift-swap takeover. DJ Kid Creole checks out to search for the American coconuts, getting an amazing opportunity in the mighty US of A.

Jumping straight into his metaphoric DJ box-style grave, is DJ Jay Grooves – wowing crowds with his soulful and disco-fuelled house flavours, this guy is sure to win the hearts and minds of many – catch him headlining Housexy, every Tuesday. Also for those more familiar with the DJs frequenting these parts, you’ll no-doubt recognise everyone’s favourite pint-sized DJ, Josh Demello – returning for another quarterly stint, fresh faced and armed with a staggering 8000+ new tunes!

Hed Kandi Beach Bar’s Hed Kandi LIVE will see the return of Hurghada legend, DJ Joshua Roberts on Saturday 12th April and the freaky Full Moon Party with resident DJs Mojo and Josh Demello on Saturday 19th.

Next month’s instalment starts with Holland’s underground hip-hop/R&B master DJ Styles on 5th May at Ministry’s Smoove clubnight. Thursday 15th is the monthly Gorgeous party with special guest still to be confirmed. Hed Kandi Beach Bar meanwhile will hold its Hed Kandi LIVE on the 10th with DJ Wez Clarke – the Full Moon Party follows on Thursday 20th.
