The start of July is our ‘weekly events schedule change-over time’ here at Egypt’s Ministry of Sound Beach Club. Out with the old, in with the new we say.
Introducing a brand-new urban house night ‘Bling’, en-compassing hip-hop/R&B and US house ‘n garage sounds, kicks off the updated roster on Wednesday 2nd July. Followed by Summer Sessions (Thursdays) where you can expect sun-kissed house grooves here. Fridays have been rebranded as Electro House with a dirtier spin on beats. Saturday’s Smoove remains unchanged. Sundays is now Housexy. Mondays becomes Milkshake and Club Classics moves to Tuesdays.
One of Ministry of Sound Egypt’s leading resident DJs, the UK’s Josh Demello spoke exclusively to Clubbing_UK, and says: “Staying fresh, exciting and commercially viable can be quite a difficult balancing act when dealing with such a cosmopolitan crowd as ours – Ministry Egypt manages to strike the perfect balance in my opinion, which is why the club absolutely rocks every single night!”
Alongside the latest amendments, possibly one of the most talked about hip-hop and R&B parties the city has ever seen touches down at Smoove on the July 5th with Rampage. Fresh from their daily shows on the UK’s Radio 1 sister station 1Xtra, the London-based crew look set to rip it up like never before.
The ever-beautiful Gorgeous club-night lands on 24th July, with the mysterious guest-DJ still to be confirmed at this stage.
Over the water, Sharm El Sheikh’s Ministry of Sound @ Pacha action consists of MTV’s Richie_Don appearing on July 11th, the immensely talented DJ Courtice headlining on July 12th, The Wide Boys & D-Formation hosting the 25th and 26th (respectively).
Last month, saw the city’s official after-parties for the Grand Opening Weekend of Hurghada_Marina_Boulevard keep things busy at Ministry Beach Club. Nile FM hosted DJ Carlos on Friday 6th, followed by the welcomed return of the UK’s DJ Junior J on Saturday 7th for Smoove.
The marina saw 20,000 people take-part in the launch, any of them still eager to carry-on were truly satisfied right next-door courtesy of Ministry of Sound.
